It was last year on September 12th, 2017 that Apple unveiled a series of highly advanced gadgets such as the iPhone X and iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. Well, this seems to be a very auspicious date for the tech giant as this year too, the same date has been chosen for the launch of Apple’s Watch Series 4.
What’s more exciting to note is that Apple will also roll out new iPhone models, much to the delight of the iPhone enthusiasts. Truly speaking, this is something special; an icing on the cake to be precise. So, before you can grab this Apple Smartwatch, let’s get across some of the interesting features that would gain the user’s attention.
The Change in the Design
The new Apple Watch Series 4 is all set to have enhanced displays. According to the information available, the size of the display will be increased by 15%.
There is no such major change in the body of the gadget and it is quite similar to the earlier versions. However, it is expected that the Company would be updating the software and the display size of the Smartwatch to be somewhat around 1.57 inch or 1.78 inches.
Currently, the display size is about 1.5 inch. In addition, the new Apple watches face will offer more information in comparison to the previous models. The size of the bezel has been decreased around the watch display.
The analogue watch offers a total of eight complications on the face, which is available within the hands and outside the clock numbers. We would be viewing more new faces taking benefit of the enlarged display.
In fact, if a report by Bloomberg is to be believed that Apple has already made its plan to invest in the future technology known as MicroLED. However, it is a complicated task to create a screen for the MircoLED in comparison to OLED.
Improvements in the Buttons
Another noteworthy change that is expected to arrive with the new Apple Smartwatch is improvements in the buttons. According to the source, the buttons have been designed much stronger as they will not be moving and doing physical movement but instead just sense the touch and pressure of a finger.
Sleep and Sports Tracking
Apple acquired the sleep tracking company Beddit in May last year and there had been speculations since then that Apple would be implementing the sleep tracking in the Smartwatch.
Apple’s watch had been able to track your fitness but there was no option of monitoring the bedtime. However, this is an appreciable step and we hope that it would be integrated with the Apple’s health software.
The sports tracking facility will allow the sportsperson to track their sports activities and it has a built-in GPS and waterproof design and it would be attached with Apple GymKit to monitor your gymming sessions. It may also have a sunscreen detector for tracking the UV rays.
What about Siri
We had been expected that Siri would find a comfortable place in the Apple Watch Series 4 and that’s come true. Yes, Apple is working on the bigger upgrades and it is also anticipated that Siri will be helping in your daily workout.
It will have automatic workout detection to send a notification when you begin the exercise. It will monitor your heart beat with support for third-party apps.
The New WatchOS 5
The next variant of the Operating System has been facilitated with health-tracking options including a Podcast app and walkie-talkie feature. However, it is being expected that many other new features will also make their way, but it needs to be seen until the actual announcement.
Launching and Price
The official date of announcing the new Apple smart wearable is September 12 at an event, which would take place at Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California. The event can be covered live from the Steve Jobs Theater.
As far as the pricing is concerned, it is still under the cover. But the anticipation is that it would be obviously higher than the previous model.
