The Challenge

  • Our client wanted to develop a platform that provides the utmost security to its users to share their experiences anonymously. The user doesn’t have to register or log into the application to share their experiences, giving them complete identity protection. It helps users pick topics of their choice and find experiences that will help them mold their opinions.

The Solution

  • The MindInventory team responded by delivering a mobile app with user anonymity at the center of the solution. Swift 5 was used for developing the mobile application for the iOS platform.

Without Login/Registration

One of the main features that the customer wanted was to have a platform that doesn’t require login or registration. Since the user was going to share their personal experiences, the client wanted to ensure that the user felt completely safe in sharing without feeling any shame or anxiety about their identity being revealed.

Reporting

There could be users who could take advantage of the anonymity, misuse the platform, and harass other users. We added a report user function that will allow those users to be banned by capturing the device ID.

FireBase Billing

There were many API calls in the app, which may have been unnecessary. As the user base continued to increase the billing cost also started to go higher. MindInventory helped them to utilize some Firebase features to optimize the cost and also reduced the API calls by optimizing their code.

Groups

We integrated a Group feature that allows any user to join an open group of users dealing with the same issues and discuss various cases related to mental health, all in one place.
